Can the college help me before I have been awarded a bursary/EMA?

If there is no one else you can turn to, you may be able to apply to the Discretionary Fund for short-term help.

Emergency Funding

The Student Advisors hold a small budget to support students in an emergency. This support includes, 

  • Bus tokens for First Bus to help you get home.
  • M-Ticket for First Bus to help you attend college.
  • Supermarket voucher to buy groceries. We hold some vouchers for ASDA, Tesco and Sainsburys.
