Can I Print, Photocopy or Scan documents in the library?

Answer

We are offering the following on-campus photocopying/scanning services:

  • Pop into either campus library to release printing or to photocopy or scan.
  • We have MFDs (Multi-function Device Printers) that print, photocopy and scan documents.
  • Booking is not required to use a PC or Mac to print at City Campus or Riverside Campus.

View our library updates guide for more information on library services.

Printing:

There are several MFD printers dotted throughout the libraries on each floor. The college operates a 'follow-me' printing scheme whereby you can print off your documents from any printer within the library. Simply top-up your account and you're good to go! You can top up your account from the library service points, and the cost of your prints will be deducted from this balance. The library offers black & white and colour printing in A4 and A3.

Photocopying:

If you require a paper copy of a document, you can do this using our printers. Simply find a printer within the library and follow the instructions next to the printer. You pay for photocopies in exactly the same way as prints - pay to top up your account at the library service points and the cost of your copies will be automatically deducted. The library offers black & white and colour photocopying, in A4 and A3.

Printing and photocopying Cost
A4 black & white 5p
A3 black & white 10p
A4 colour 10p
A3 colour 15p

Scanning:

You can use the MFDs (found on each floor of both campus libraries) to scan a copy of a document to your college email address.
