What’s the difference between a bibliography and a reference list?
Answer
A bibliography lets your reader see all the details about your research sources and background reading, plus the source for any quotes and paraphrases.
A reference list contains the full details of anything you have taken a quote or paraphrase from.
Both are listed in alphabetic order by author.
If you aren't sure which you need to write for your college report or essay, check with your lecturer.
